Advanced Prenatal and Perinatal Bodywork

Kate is specially trained to work with the needs of women during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Massage can relieve the strain caused by carrying a child as well as nurture an expectant or new mother and her baby. This bodywork selection is for acute or advanced perinatal demands such as baby needs to change position, mother/birthing parent is preparing for childbirth and needs more space in her/their body, baby is breech, labor was difficult and birthing parent's body needs one or two bodywork sessions.

Sessions include Massage Therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Somatic Trauma Resolution Skills.
Fee $120 for an hour, $150 for 1.5 hours

Testimony: "Prenatal massage helped me be pain free! After almost 2 months of an incredibly painful, stretched iliofemoral ligament (that I was told was "normal" and I could do nothing about), I signed up for a prenatal massage. No promises were made that it would be gone, but extraordinarily tight muscles proved to be the culprit. Three weeks later I'm still without pain, making day to day so much easier. I only wish I'd gone sooner!" ~ Stacy Roberts, Charlottesville
